Wayo Serengeti Green Camp - The Facts
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp takes on the traditional mobile camp focus of moving with the wildebeest herds, yet it does it with a twist. Seeking out the most private and secluded spots, whilst still being close enough to the action ensures that you will not only tick off everything you could wish for, but you’ll have an enhanced experience because of the location.
Having been recently refurbished, the ten new and spacious tents each have their own private en-suite containing bucket showers and flushing toilets. The rooms all have two extra day-beds meaning any room can be made into the perfect family room.
Encouraging a full immersive experience of the Serengeti, the tent has a 360-degree view of the open plains through the gauze windows. Nothing quite beats waking up and enjoying a hot drink in bed whilst watching the sun come up over the endless plains.
One thing that hasn't changed though are the guides. Wayo train their guides to the highest of standards, so you can be sure that whatever activity you choose, an enthralling and informative experience awaits.
Days can be spent enjoying game drives or on foot, exploring the surrounding wildlife and vegetation in whichever area the camp is located when you visit. It’s not uncommon to walk amongst the migrating herds – one of the most exceptional Serengeti experiences that we couldn't recommend highly enough.
