Opened in 2010, Ewanjan Tented Camp perfectly located in the central Serengeti area of the Seronera Valley, famous for its abundant resident game and large prides of predators. Ewanjan has a great setting away from the crowds, ideal to fully experience the wildlife of this area without constantly meeting another vehicle.

Ewanjan is at its height when the migration rolls though the Seronera Valley, the camp also works perfectly when combining with its sister mobile camps in Ndutu from December to March and the Mara River between July and October.

Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp - The Facts

Ewanjan is Lemala's permanent tented option in the central Serengeti, it is a definite step up from its mobile offerings and provides a little bit of luxury in the Seronera area. This area is famous for its amazing resident game and can easily be blended with a twin centre safari in the Serengeti.

The camp now has 12 large and spacious luxury safari tents with two queen beds as standard and en-suite facilities, a flushing toilet, hot and cold safari bucket showers, wooden furniture, and floors, 24 hour solar lighting and a host of little extras. You can relax outside on two confortable chairs reading a book or watching the sun set over the Serengeti.

The mess tent is rather over elaborate with large comfortable leather sofas, chandeliers, styled wooden furniture, rugs and a colonial style central bar area serving drinks. Pre dinner cocktails are served with views looking out towards the setting sun before venturing inside to dine on the chefs creations. A great addition to any Tanzania safari.
