Essque Zalu is located very close to Nungwi village on
Zanzibar’s northern most beaches. It’s a structure that you just can’t miss as it towers above any other in close proximity.
As you walk into Essque you are immediately stunned at the sheer vastness of the place. It’s modern, edgy and impressive. There’s a bar, 3 different restaurants and a large gift shop… The main communal area is vast with an enormous swimming pool taking up the majority of this space. A huge jetty stretches out into the Indian Ocean and is great to swim and jump off, when the tide is up. There is even a restaurant on the end that specialises in oriental cuisine.
The suites are extremely well furnished and very polished. The villas are even more luxurious and spacious. Some of them have three separate bedrooms, a roof terrace, a kitchen, private swimming pool and a spa therapy room! They are the perfect venue for a family looking for a luxurious stay where everyone can enjoy themselves. They even have a kids club.
